For Red Nose Day 2019 the pupils of Panda Class and staff of Gloucester House came together to bake batches of delicious treats to host a Red Nose Day Bake Sale at the Tavistock and Portman Clinic. Treats included Mars Bars Birds’ Nests, Chocolate Chip Cookies, Chocolate Cupcakes and Pumpkin Seed and Ginger Muffins. At the bake stall, pupils were delighted to assist customers ( i.e. Tavistock staff) in finding the right treat for their taste buds. In turn, they received a lot of support and business was booming!
We are delighted to announce that we raised a total of £110 from our Bake Sale to go towards Red nose day charitable projects! Well done everyone!!
In addition to the Red Nose Day Bake Sale, pupils at Gloucester House were invited to take part in a sponsored run around the block. Each lap they ran was sponsored with £1. Pupils from all classes came out in force and ran a total of 41 laps! So overall we raised a total £151 for Red Nose Day 2019!
We would like to thank everyone who contributed to the success of these fundraising events for their continued support. We would also like to thank Intisar, the Patient and Public Involvement Team and the Communications team for their assistance in helping to promote our efforts.
We can’t wait to see what the pupils will accomplish next year!
